FAQs
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel within the Furness area is included. For locations a little further afield, a small travel fee may apply - this will always be discussed and agreed in advance.
What if the weather isn’t great on the day?
Cumbria weather can be unpredictable, but we’ll keep in touch and decide together whether to go ahead, adjust plans or reschedule. Light cloud often works beautifully, and if needed, your session can be moved to the next available date at no extra cost.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely. I’m always happy to suggest locations based on the look you love - whether that’s coastal, countryside, woodland or something more intimate. I also take into account lighting, accessibility and how relaxed the space will feel, especially for families and children.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
I know being in front of the camera can feel a little awkward, but you don’t need to worry about how to pose at all. I’ll gently guide you throughout the session, offering simple directions while keeping everything relaxed and natural. My focus is on helping you feel comfortable and present, so real moments can unfold naturally.
When will we receive our photos?
Your gallery will typically be ready within 5–10 days. For sessions with a larger number of images, delivery may take up to 2-4 weeks, allowing time to give each photograph the care and attention it deserves.
Can we receive our photos sooner?
If you’re working to a specific deadline, a rush turnaround may be available for an additional fee. Just let me know when enquiring and I’ll do my best to accommodate where possible.
